Insurance Tickets

If you had valid insurance on the date your citation/ticket was issued, the ticket may be dismissed by the prosecutor without an appearance in court prior to your court date by the doing the following: 

 *YOU MUST email municipalcourt@riversidemo.com  before the court date issued on your ticket and must include: 

1. Your ticket number
2. Copy of insurance card (front and back)
3. Your full name


This must be completed before your court date. Court will not accept request 48 hours prior to court date. **Your ticket must not involve an accident!

The prosecutor will call and verify your insurance coverage was valid at date and time the ticket was issued. 

You will be notified within 5 business days of submitting your email if your case will be dismissed or if you must appear in court.

**This is only for your insurance ticket and DOES NOT EXCLUDE your responsibility for any other tickets issued to you.
