Compensation

Lateral transfer pay is available for many positions in the Police and Fire Departments based on your previous years of service and experience level. The pay rate will be established based on the comparable wages of other Riverside employees in the same position. Base pay for lateral transfers will be determined at the time of job offer in discussions with the department director.

- Police Academy - Fees covered & wages paid at 90% while attending
