Pet Licenses are required for any dog (cats are optional) that is let outside the confines of a private building.  Pet licenses expire yearly on December 31. 
Fees
  • $6.00 for dogs
  • $4.00 if the dog is spayed or neutered
  • No Fee for cats
Required Documentation
  • Copy of a current Certification of Rabies Vaccination
Process
  • Online: Use link above. 
  • In Person: Pet Licenses are available between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at City Hall (2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, MO 64150).
  • By Mail:  Attention - Community Development, City of Riverside, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, MO 64150.
    • Owner's Contact Information (Full Name, Current Address, Current Phone Number)
    • Copy of a current Certification of Rabies Vaccination
    • Payment in the form of a Personal Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order payable to the "City of Riverside."
