Development Review Process

The goal of the development review process is to ensure land use changes (such as rezonings and special use permits) and development adhere to the City's Comprehensive Master Plan and Unified Development Ordinance (see Chapter 400).  It is the aim of the City to develop effective working relationships with the development community to enhance the local economy and produce quality developments that contribute to Riverside's high quality of life for both residents and businesses.  The supporting documents below provide additional information on the development review process.
